Author brings awareness to women’s self – esteem issues with her newest romance novel

Raleigh, NC – Leanora Moore, who has released two previous romance novels, has released a new romance novel titled Smooth as Silk to bring awareness to women’s self-esteem issues and also women empowerment. Smooth as Silk was released February 1, 2013 and is available for sell on Amazon.com, Barnes & Nobles.com, and Booksamillion.com.

“Love is about passion and desire not shape, size, or color.” Smooth as Silk introduces a new kind of heroine, which is why the series is called Voluptuously Curvy and Loving It Series. This series is about feisty plus size women that want to be loved just like the next woman. This book is the first of many in the Voluptuously Curvy and Loving It Series. In this series, you will read stories about plus size women that live ordinary lives, whether it's as a waitress, executive, or a teacher. While they are dealing with their issues, they don't let it keep them from finding love and happiness with the man of their dreams. With this series, Leanora wanted to set the stage for women that are larger than most to understand love doesn't know weight or size and only you can stand in your way of happiness. This series also lets the plus size women know that they may be plump and curvy, but they can be just as sexy as the next woman who is looking to find love, and it just means you have more for him to love. Also, you need to love yourself first, and as the divas say, “If you got it, flaunt it”.

In Smooth as Silk, Angela Patterson has had a hard life, now Angela is living her life to the fullest and making a living doing the one thing that makes her happy and that's singing. Angela sings at a nightclub called Olivia's, where she hopes to be offered the deal of a life time to boost her singing career.

Gary McNeil owns McNeil Records and runs his record label with his twin brother Barry, and their other siblings. Gary has always focused on work and his family till he laid eyes on Angela Patterson across the room in a crowded restaurant and he couldn't stop thinking about her. Fate steps in when his cousin tells him about an amazing singer at his club and when Gary and his siblings check out this new singer, it turns out to be his mystery lady from the restaurant and he has to sign her to his label.

At the age of 31, Leanora decided to write her first novel titled "The Caress of a Younger Man". Since then she has written another romance novel titled "Heavenly Kingdom", which she introduced plus size heroines into her romance novels. As an author, Leanora wanted to bring something special to the romance genre, so as a plus size woman herself, she wanted to give her readers someone that they can relate to. She hopes to book speaking engagements to speak to young women about these issues and to empower them. She also wants to help aspiring authors to take that final step to get published.

Hi Mary,
I'm so glad that you enjoyed Smooth As Silk, and you hit the nail on the head about not being a size 6 to find love. That was my goal, to show pluz size women that we are beautiful and sexy, and that we all deserve to be loved.I want to thank you for you support and be on the lookout for a few contest that I will be having as we get ready for Volume three's release in December.

Smooth as Silk captures the essence of being able to find love and success regardless of not being the perfectly sized woman. It gives us plus-size women the confidence that there is someone out there who will appreciate us as we are.
